The fantastic weather over the weekend meant that the Hillier Chelsea Garden designer Andy McIndoe got chance to really see the plants and trees start to bloom at the Hillier Gardens in Braishfield.
The gardens are home to one of the largest collections of hardy plants in the world and was created by Sir Harold Hillier over 60 years ago. It is stocked with the results of many plant hunting adventures to far corners of the globe.
They are the perfect place for Chelsea designer Andy McIndoe to gain inspiration for the Adventures in Gardening Hillier exhibit at the Chelsea Flower Show. As well as a fantastic backdrop for a photo of Andy in his brand new Craghoppers uniform.
Andy said, “I love it - so Indiana Jones meets Crocodile Dundee - and why not? After all it’s supposed to be about adventures!”
You can read all about the progress of Hillier’s Adventures in Gardening for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show on Andy’s Designer's Diary blog.
